Hot Buttered Marinated Mushrooms

My name is Barbie, I am married to a wonderful man named Mike. We have four adult children, two grandchildren three critter kids and we own and operate a group home for Disabled Veterans. We have been taking care of Veterans for 19 years now. Some of our Veterans have physical disabilities and some have mental health issues. It is a huge challenge but at the end of the day, we hope we have given our Veterans something better than they had before they came to us. We often times have family picnics and one of the things we love the most is a recipe I had gotten from my cousin which are called "Hot Buttered Marinated Mushrooms." We all laugh about it because we say that these mushrooms are so outrageously good that we call them liquid gold. - Three poundsmushroom of your choice
- three sticks (3/4 lb)Challenge Butter
- Three packagesGood Seasons Italian Dressing Mix (dry)
- 6-7 quartslow cooker/crock pot
Put all the mushrooms into slow cooker.
In microwave bowl, add all three Italian Seasoning packets and the three sticks butter. Microwave until butter is melted.
Mix the melted butter and seasonings thoroughly and pour over mushrooms in slow cooker. Cover with lid and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-6 hours.
Serve the mushrooms straight from the slow cooker or transfer to a serving dish. Enjoy!
